Well, mostly! I didn't have any work to do today so I sanded the car down again.
I got all the runs out and touched up the paint where I went through with my airbrush. Great for quick fixes.
I used 2000 grit wet sandpaper all over to remove the dust specks and blemishes, then Cleaned it all and taped it up. Tacked the body and wet the floor down then sprayed a coat of clear. 10 min. later a second coat of clear. After 20 min. I shot the gold mix on a very light setting, more of a misting. Then another coat of clear followed by one more 25 min. later. Came out pretty good I think! ![]()

The color does very well in light, bright and dark depending on how the light hits it. You can see on the hood and fender how it looks, both the fender and hood have the same amount of gold but the hood looks brighter because of the light bounce.
I was lucky to have a good day to shoot, forecast didn't call for it two days ago and the next week looks cold and wet here.
