I got the black sprayed on but I did a poor job of it. I was a little heavy handed in a few spots and ran the paint so I'll have to sand first before continuing. There was more dust than expected too and I'll need to sand out all the specs so that means sanding the whole car (again). The good news is I'll have a smoother base for the gold and clear to go over so that will improve the overall quality of the job! Just a LOT more work. Oh well, I like this work any how! 
I'll get some better shots when I get it out of the garage. "till then I have to leave it in to cure some.
