are clearance issues such as header tubes. For best results the SC needs to be centered on the bracket and the bracket mounting holes need to be centered on the transmission bolts, but in cases where it is moved to gain clearance there should not be any issues with loss of performance.
If it aint broke..... modify it anyway!!!!
