I am selling my 1978 Ford LTD 460 P.I. It is an original Louisiana State Police car with low, original miles, and is all numbers-matching.
1978 Ford LTD, ex-Louisiana State Police, 460 PI, 72K, was frame-off restored, fully marked and completed ten years ago, it now has a few small spots of rust from sitting the last year and a half, beautiful car and from ten feet away looks new, but could use paint to be perfect again, underside is immaculate and it has not been driven in anything but nice weather since restoration, all numbers matching and a ton of NOS parts installed, including NOS exhaust system, also has original LSP lightbar w/spotlight and console with equipment. $9,500 OR BEST OFFER!
This car does not need much to be an absolute show stopper, just a few touch-ups here and there. I have a brand new fuel tank which needs to be installed, other than that it is ready to go. I have an original set of Louisiana State Police decals that will go with the car as well, also, copies of original build sheet and all of the original auction paperwork where it was purchased from the Louisiana State Police. You will never find a nicer, more rare car, for this kind of money. Call me if there is any interest.
