When posting a question about your Galaxie or other Ford (all are welcome), BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to accurately answer questions.

LMAO!!!
You too!!!!! OMG..........this is TOO funny.
My black car has/had that omen too. It's been 9 yrs and I still disconnect the battery when I park it. It does tend to sit for weeks sometimes. Even my lil '69 F100 used to have a drain(I disconnect it too).
Do you have the old points style regulator on the car? I'm thinking that maybe the points might get crusty and stick closed and leave the gen/alt on thus killing the battery. How about a hood or trunk light? Don't some even have glovebox light? Make sure the switches work well or they might stick enough to stay on. Does it have a clock? Working? Sometimes? Might be a problem too.
Once you narrow down all the little gadgets on the car that "could" be a problem you'll likely find the culprit.

Ya, intermittent electric problems are the DEVIL!
