i am not sure, but convertibles are different than hardtops in just that way. the roof adds stregnth to the structure of the body where as a convertible does not, but instead has a large x in the frame that the driveshaft passes through to add strength. when i put all the body bushings in place, the front mounts were touching, and the very rear mounts were 1" away from the body. i started to tighten the bolts down, and watched the gaps in the doors get wider, so that tells me i am stressing the body. what i am doing now is "cheating" the bushings by taking a little of the thickness off. just to see where that puts me. i do appreciate the reply.
