Another source of leakage was a cracked rubber hose between the tank and the steel line on my '68 LTD. after I noticed it, I reached up to feel it for flexibility, and it cracked right off in my hand. I'm in Arizona, where there's little rust, but lots of crispy vintage rubber. Good luck. Have fun gettin dirty!
