there should be two straps holding it to the underside of the trunk. The straps attach to long threaded hock bolts and by loosing the nut the tank can be dropped. You will also need to disconnect the fuel line and possibly the filler neck depending on how the 66 is set up. not much to it. You should be able to do it your self. Just make sure it is empty and spray the hook bolts with a good penetrating oil one or twice a day for a week before you do the job.
