Hello there -- I just recently purchased a '66 Galaxie 500 sedan (289 & 3sp Cruise-O-Matic) and have noticed that the fuel tank is leaking. I can't see from where exactly, but I was told from the guy I bought it from that replacing it was his next to-do. Anyway, I've never taken one out and am wondering if it's a bear to replace myself or if it's really worth it to have a shop do it. Any answers would be much appreciated!!
Also, I'm not even sure what size gallon it is since the fuel gauge doesn't work.....were there multiple tank sizes?
