OK, are we talking about the same area. I am looking for thin rubber-like material about an inch wide and maybe 1/32" thick that runs between 2 pieces of trim. The outermost trim piece runs up the A pillar then along the roof line and down the C pillar (on my 2 door). This thin rubber stuff would in no way come near the glass as it is sandwiched between the A pillar, roof line, and C pillar and the trim itself.
The trim piece does have a channel for window seal rubber which is available from Dearborn Classics, but I plan to salvage mine for now and put new in later when finances are better.
On a different subject, I already ordered the fuzzies which attach to the door's upper edge and wipe the window.
Where does this double sided tape you speak of go?
