When posting a question about your Galaxie or other Ford (all are welcome), BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to accurately answer questions.

I have not yet gone in to the front suspension of my 62, but....

I did completely disassemble the front suspension on the 61 I parted out. There were no special tools needed to take it apart. Just some really big wrenches and sockets. Best advise I can give is measure your shims on the UCAs when you take them out and then when the UCAs go back in make sure the the correct thickness of shims is put back in, that way you can get it to the alignment shop. Also I would spend about a week before you do the job daily spraying all the nuts and bolts with penetrating oil so they are easier to take apart.
