62 front end

So I was mulling over which thing I should fix first on the 62.I want to go on a few road trips this summer and I want to have the car very safe and reliable. The frame has a few issues that will require some welding and the steering has way too much looseness in it, so it probably could use a rebuild. I wanted to get your guy,s advice on the matter. I was looking at the Kanter rebuild kits from $229 to $333. should I replace all the bushings? the center link, idler arm? I thought about taking it in to a shop to see what they suggest. What work have you done on your steering set up in the past?, and how much could I expect to pay for a shop rebuild?
