When posting a question about your Galaxie or other Ford (all are welcome), BE SURE to tell us what it is, what year, engine, etc so we have enough information to accurately answer questions.

Not Galaxie related but thougt you may be interested in the process I am making with the Jaguar IRS install in my Mustang. Remember I also have one of these that needs to be rebuilt so I can install it in my Galaxie
"Blue on black
Tears on a river
Push on a shove
It don't mean much
Joker on jack
Match on a fire
Cold on ice
A dead mans touch
Whisper on a scream Doesn't change a thing Don't bring you back
Blue on black
Oh yeah, blue on black"
I think blue on black is the only way to go!!!!!
Nothing is attached together but after getting the differential axles installed I couldn't resisting setting everything in its approximate location. The shocks are black and the coil springs are powder coated the same blue as the other blue parts on the assemble. I am not sure yet if the calipers will be bare aluminum or powder coated blue. Also if you look behind the unit there is the original front sway bar that came off of my Mustang. I think I will easily be able to make it work with this rear. If I use it it too will be blue. So as you can see, like I said in the title "Kenny Wayne shepherd didn't know what he was talking about"
