"The reason you do not want to attach the choke at the wire from the coil is between the coil and the ignition switch there is a ballast resister that drops the 12 volts down to 9 to keep the coil from burning out."
My blaster 2 coil came with the ballast resistor, but the directions said it was not necessary to use it. I don't remember if it was do to the fact that I have the 6A box and Pertronix dizzy or some other reason. Do you recommend I use it anyway or is there a factory resistor somewhere?
Thanks for the heads up on the positive wire to the coil. I will keep this in mind when I start wiring.
