probably just saved me $150. Thanks. I can see myself doing the same thing. I had a really hard time deciding which motor to use. I have a 289 with AT that runs, and a 390 with a 4 on the floor that doesn't run. We all know that the MT would be more fun, especially with a Z code 390. I may regret the decision but finances dictated that I go for the easier and cheaper motor and trans for my first project car. If this one is a success, then future projects will have more "fun" options.
