For those of you not familiar with the 62 Galaxie it seems to be the red headed step child when it aftermarket parts availability. When you look in the catalogs there are not a lot of 62 parts and those that are available are for the 2-door not the 4-door. Any way after calling lots of Galaxie specific places, I was able to find 2-door weather stripping but not 4-door and the 2-door stuff was expensive. So armed with a chunk of the existing weather stripping I went down to Napa and found some generic replacement stripping in the original Ford design. Over the last two days I pulled the doors one at a time. Removed the old stripping and glued the new on. I couldn't be happier with the results. Looks as good as stock and seams to make a nice seal.
