Just 2 days to go !
Track is now signposted from Junction 8 of the M11 Motorway along the 120 (West) and then north along the B1383 though Stansted, Quendon and then a right turn to the road that leads to the track
A good work party turn out today means that all the stakes are in and the first two rows of stakes are painted as well!
Weather has been sunny intervals all day and NO RAIN at all. Some areas north of Ugley have had a bit today but Ugley lies in the prettiest and dryest part of the country !
The ground is damp to a considerable depth but the top was dry enough for cars to pull a full trailer load of stakes up the hill today !
The solo starts will terrify some - you cant see the first bend due to the brow of the hill half way up the straight !
Another update will be posted on here saturday night and if anyone wants to check the weatherline before travelling it is 01371 870123.
Track size and shape, oval, around 500 yards - according to Gary Southgate!
Saturday forecast for Ugley is light showers and Sunday weather forecast at the time of posting is Sunny, 18 degrees and 7 mph very light wind.
