Gary Southgate has just called from the venue, and has asked me to advise all youth riders that it is with regret that the youth meeting on the Saturday has had to be cancelled.
The decision has been taken based on the existing condition of the ground and the inclement weather forecast predicted. The club has assessed other areas of the field but unfortunately are not able to erect a viable track elsewhere.
Once Gary is back from the field, he will put a formal message from the club and will make direct contact with all the riders who have entered.
The adult meeting is still scheduled to go ahead on Sunday.
