Dear Neighbor,
In the spirit of providing our children with the tools and knowledge they need to recognize unsafe situations and effectively protect themselves, the Security Committee of CCCHA is very excited to present a series of workshops by Pattie Fitzgerald, of Safely Ever After, Inc.
The first two workshops to be offered are “Kidz-Power!”, for children ages 5 – 8, and “An Ounce of Prevention”. Depending upon response and need, these workshops may be offered again to allow everyone an opportunity to attend and subsequent workshops will be offered in the upcoming months and will be organized by age range.
“Kidz-Power” is designed for children ages 5-8, however, parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. The content of each of these workshops will be age-appropriate, empowering, fun and very importantly, not frightening.
The cost to attend is $25 per child ($20 for siblings). There is no charge for parents who wish to attend.
“An Ounce of Prevention”, is designed for parents and caregivers with a special focus on younger children (4 years and under). The cost to attend is $30 per adult. (This is an adults-only workshop)
When & Where:
“Kidz-Power!” will be presented on Thursday, September 25, at 6:00 PM at the Beverly Hills Country Club located at 3084 Motor Avenue, at Manning.
(*Please note that we will limit the workshop size to 20 children in an effort to keep the workshop manageable)
“An Ounce of Prevention” will follow shortly after and will start at 7:00 PM.
If you are interested in attending either workshop please respond to Daria Rodman at 310-841-6677 or via email at dsaeedi@msn.com.
Please send checks to secure your space care of Daria Rodman at 3288 Woodbine St., Los Angeles, CA 90064 (and please include a note specifying which workshop you are attending). Please make checks payable to “Safely Ever After”.
You may also join either workshop last minute (provided there is space available) and pay at the door.
