VIRUK
Attack 1REALISM: 3/5 -1 Watch yourself here - you state that there is a 'crack of hoof on bone', but remember in battle you cannot simply assume that you hit your target, no matter how certain it is. Replace this with something like, 'he hoped to hear the crack of hoof on bone...', etc, so it's more open-ended. -1 Which shin are you attacking here? Front, back, right, left? Be more precise about where you are targeting; it's hard to keep track of otherwise! POWER: 4/5 Pretty good, but shins are moving objects, and therefore a solid strike is not guaranteed. TIMING: 3/5 I don't think you can count on Fez just standing there to take the blow. Your opponent is a moving, reacting target; you need to expect they are going to try and get away from you, and how you're going to react in turn to still try and make that hit. CREATIVITY BONUS: +0 VIRUK
Attack 2REALISM: 4/5 -1 You charge forward at Fez, but suddenly are turned around and kicking out at his face? How did Viruk move to turn around? POWER: 4/5 If you can make a solid hit, this will be painful. TIMING: 2/5 Again, I'm not sure how you go from charging full-on to spinning and kicking his face. Remember again that your opponent is constantly in motion. Fez would have plenty of time, in the time it takes Viruk to pivot, to get out of the way. CREATIVITY BONUS: +0 FEHAZATHANT
Defense 1REALISM: 4/5 -1 Viruk is aiming for your shin - how does he hit a target as high as the chest? DAMAGE: 5/5 TIMING: 5/5 CREATIVITY BONUS: +0 FEHAZATHANT
Defense 2REALISM: 5/5 DAMAGE: 4/5 -1 Not enough taken, in my opinion. Viruk has already struck here once and, fire element or not, this is going to be quite a sore area, especially after a double barrel kick. TIMING: 5/5 Appropriate. CREATIVITY BONUS: +0 FEHAZATHANT
Attack 1REALISM: 4/5 -1 Like Viruk, you need to watch out about what you say you hit. It's fine to say you are striking out at no particular target, but to say it hits somewhere for sure, is still a no-no. POWER: 3/5 Because this is made so blindly, and to a moving target, the power here is decreased overall. TIMING: 3/5 How are you striking back this quickly? Even if Fez was immune to pain, the shock of the kick into his chest is going to stun him momentarily. CREATIVITY BONUS: +0 FEHAZATHANT
Attack 2REALISM: 4/5 -1 Attacking Viruk's moving hind legs this quickly is going to be a difficult feat. Namely, your chances of missing or of landing simply a glancing blow and getting another kick to the face/chest are quite high. POWER: 3/5 Again, there's just too much that could go wrong here. TIMING: 3/5 I still think you're moving too fast. To be kicked, then kick back, then move forward and kick again all in the same motion is stretching it too far. It's better to take some time and gather Fez for a more creative second attack than to try and squeeze everything in here at the end. CREATIVITY BONUS: +0 VIRUK
Defense 1REALISM: 5/5 DAMAGE: 5/5 TIMING: 5/5 Appropriately taken. CREATIVITY BONUS: +0 VIRUK
Defense 2REALISM: 3/5 -1 How did Fez hit you as high as the abdomen when he was aiming for the lower legs? -1 Remember you cannot counterattack after your initial two attacks are done, but then I wasn't completely sure if by 'tackle' you meant kick or react in this sentence: "...with a vicious tackle sent back at his opponents face". DAMAGE: 4/5 -1 Good, but how does this affect Viruk? I know it's the end of the battle, but I'd love to read a bit more on his reactions to his injuries. TIMING: 3/5 I think you spin too quickly here - Fez was following right behind you before making the attack; to turn this sharply, you would need to be stopped. CREATIVITY BONUS: +0 VIRUK
Subtotal: 45/60Elemental Score: 0 Bonus Points: 0 Penalties: -0 I didn't remove a point because the battle was.. well... confusing at the beginning, lol, with who was supposed to fight who. If this had been a full battle with Fez, you would have needed to take into account that you are Fire I and Fez is Water I. Being weak to an element has significant influences in a battle (i.e. taking heavier damage and being aware of the element's weakness at all times). FINAL SCORE: 45/60 FEHAZATHANT
Subtotal: 48/60Elemental Score: 1 For Water's strength to Fire. Bonus Points: 0 Penalties: -0 Again, because of the confusion, I'm not removing points for elements - but remember that your element should be as integral a part of the battle as your very body. Especially being strong to Viruk's fire, you had quite a bit to go off here! FINAL SCORE: 49/60 By my judgment, FEHAZATHANT is the winner! Ni'Srilan owes Andarin a prisoner (or will be captured themselves)!
