The cold drizzle of rain falls onto her body. Her ears lace into her mane, showing her displeasure at having picked to fight in this weather. The rain evaporated with a sizzle on her coat, the small flames licking themselves up into the sky despite the drizzle. She couldn't see very far in front of her but knew that the pull of their opposite elements would be enough. She stepped carefully through the mud, wishing that it were summer again with the hard grounds and bright skies instead of this mud and muck. She felt a shudder course through her body and after shrugging it off she released a low whinny into the air. Almost immediately she felt the tug of her Fire element to stay away from another with Water. The water in the air did not quell Fire as much as another with Water would. She wanted to stay away to ignore this fight but she missed her woods, the tall green pines lingering over her.
They were facing each other when she started into a canter, her stepping uneven and her gait slightly the same. She dreaded slipping and falling into the mud and so needing power she went as fast as she could without slipping. She smiles slightly whispering a word into the wet air so he could not hear. "Fiend Fire." The thick snake coils up from the ground, appearing as a thick rope of flames despite the mud and the rain. It hisses as it looks at Aquila and quickly slithers forwards. For once it does as it was needed too and it wrapped itself around and between his legs, wanting to simply keep Aquila from moving. Its body was living fire but it did not burn him, knowing that it was Water that kept the damage from happening.
She continued forwards, taking the last step that had brought her in at a slight angle to his left side. She threw her weight back upon her haunches, bring her hooves up to aim at his back left leg. She aimed for the knee, pushing both hooves to devastate the leg so he couldn't run to chase her. She tried not to touch him with her body, not wanting to feel the slimy texture of his body in the rain against her own slightly flaming one. She shuddered again slightly, landing, carefully catching her balance as the mud slipped beneath her hooves. She wanted to curl around him to hit his other side but instead concentrated on that back leg. She knew that Aquila's motion was limited and so she took her chances to take the extra step that took more seconds that angled her away from his body. She aimed her back hooves towards that injured leg knowing that she would be likely to hit her target one way or another, or at least some part of him. Then in a quick combo she kicked her hooves up again, going higher this time.
The first kick was aimed to hit around the knee, anywhere around the knee. She couldn't see and so she knew her aim wouldn't be completely accurate. Her second quick kick went higher and aimed above, more into the muscles of the leg. Her hooves would leave nice hard bruises that would continue to hinder him in his movement.
She landed with a grunt, careful to avoid slipping and falling in the mud and continued outwards to her right away from Aquila. She paralleled herself a few horse lengths away from him and went faster or slower as he moved.
ooc: haha semi horrible. I lost my muse for it right towards the end. Sorry <33
