Well, I didn't penalize it anyway, so no effect on the outcome of the battle :)

I was just under the impression that they could control their element without being too powerful -- e.g. an Earth horse could make hooves temporarily rock or firm up the ground, but couldn't make the ground beneath opponent's hooves turn into mushy quicksand. Stuff like that.

But if you are going to redefine the rules, I will happily go by whatever you put up!
