At least the weather was better, Zakr thought absently as he trotted to the field of Blitzkrieg. Trotting, a steady, sound movement, was not a hard gait to maintain, and left Zakr time to test out the muddy ground, experimenting as his element hardened the ground before him and let it return to slop as he passed. He felt steady enough, but with his Earth, he always felt unmovable.
He supposed that his opponent knew how that felt.
Zakr, not one for long introductions or displays of intimidation, approached Wyvern with his notorious saunter, disaffectedly appraising his significantly shorter opponent before making his move. The angle and position of his approach was irrelevant in the face of his attack, but for the sake of specifics we'll say that Zakr came on Wyvern's left side, with his chest at about a forty-five degree angle to the criollo's shoulder. He knew that the Relic-keeper was more agile than him, so he tried his best to keep a steady approach, but again - his position in regards to Wyvern when the time of the attack came was irrelevant. His attack would still work, even if Wyvern managed to get him around 180 degrees.
When Zakr was within a satisfactory proximity to his opponent he rose into a rear, his unshakable Earth hardening the ground beneath him as his shoulders rolled forward, his forelegs extending. Zakr aimed for Wyvern's shoulder, anywhere on the shoulder - he wasn't specific. Because of the height difference, Zakr doesn't need to rise very high, which means that he could perform the attack quickly - giving his opponent less time to escape. He used his own impetus, plus all the strength in his racer's body, to drive his forelegs down into Wyvern's shoulder, down the front of his left foreleg, (his jagged hooves demolishing any bones, tendons, or ligaments that fell beneath their destructive power) until he landed safely on the ground (thanks, again, to the Earth that would not fault him).
Zakr left little time for his agile opponent to maneuver; this attack did require specifics. As soon as he landed Zakr slid forward, his body touching Wyvern's as he strode quickly until his hind end was level with the (hopefully) injured shoulder. Once Zakr felt that he was in the optimal position he let loose a cow kick towards his opponent's left foreleg, hopefully again extracting a vengeance on the already injured area. As soon as his right hind leg had ejected towards Wyvern in a lightning-quick strike, Zakr pulled away to the left, circling quickly to keep an eye on his ever-moving adversary.
