I appreciate what you are saying Dave but at the end of the day if there is a glimmer of light that Bash could be helped then i would kick myself for not giving it a go as if it fails now where do we go from here........do we just all hang on and enjoy the good times while they last or should we have tried to do our bit to cement our place as the areas top club for maybe years to come. I do feel like an idiot for allowing myself to be seen as some sort of fifth columnist somehow working against the club for my own benefit, i should have learnt from experience that Bash has it's far share of reactionaries along with it's progressives - it's a mistake that i'll not be making again. Even now i'm thinking about Ian's point that we should start one with the numbers that we have got and try to grow it, again most people would see that it would make sense to do that but why would anyone want to leave themselves open to personal attacks in doing so. I'm tired of this , very tired and if i hear nothing come of Mikes present proposal on Bashnet regarding getting a meeting together or someone from the club come forward and back the idea of a supporters club by tomorrow night then this board will be shut down by me and everyone can go back to living in Shangri-La where by magic alone Bash go marching on. I apologise to everyone concerned who maybe had hopes raised or were insulted by the very notion that anyone would try to get such a thing going in the first place. I genuinely thought that many of the clubs fans were ready for such a SC to be formed - must have been the beer talking.
