lol...yea...these types of discussions can get confusing and long winded. Just because a dog is bully doesn't mean it can't be athletic. I prefer bulldogges right in the middle of the standard...I like them bully, but not extreme like an EB. I prefer about a 1.5 to 2 inch muzzle with moderate wrinkling (not too much that it causes issues). I like them medium height...not short and cobby and not tall and lanky either. So, just because a dog is athletic doesn't mean it has to be tall, lanky and long muzzled like a pit or boxer or something of that nature. We all have our own opinions and preferences and I never intend to attack or bash anyone regardless of my personal opinions. I was only presenting my take on what an OEB should be and that's all it is...my take. lol. I do think you can breed OEBs that are bully, healthy and athletic and that is exactly what I am doing myself...not extreme on either end of the spectrum, but right down the middle of the standard.
