I don't have a lot of time to post because I'm really busy but here is my 2 cents on drivey, and that's all it's worth. LOL!!
There is a difference between Drivey and Hyper. I agree, but to me a Drivey dog is one that has to have a job to do to be happy. For me a good dog is one that will do any job they are asked, but not have to do one to be happy. I agree there are a lot of well behaved Drivey dogs, but I will also so that if you take a Drivey dog and don't train it, or don't work with them you can get a very destructive dog or a very unhappy one. I don't think OEB's have to be drivey to be a good dog. I like a nice calm even tampered dog that will act when asked, but can lay around all day without being upset about it.
