The EB is definitely one of the breeds used to reconstruct the Olde Bulldog. You are correct. I'm not sure though about where tri comes from, but I'm pretty sure it stems from EBs as well and not Rotts...Rotts aren't tri, they only consist of 2 colors, not 3. All breeds have to start somewhere and all breeds consist of various breeds as its foundation to create the breed.
