Hi Ruthie I thank you for your concern here's an update. All 9 pups were born to early so none of them survived. As far as Zena she is still in the care of the emergency specislists. when she was brought in her white blood cell count was around 3500 which is very low today they increased to 13500 which is very good progress. We're hoping she can come home tomorrow. I brought one of the fetuses to Tufts University today so it can be tested to see if they find what may have caused this. Also the vet wants to run a blood test specifically geared to looking for tick transmitted diseases. Also a urine test to check for bacteria, viruses etc. This is getting extremely expensive but I have to get clarity as to what caused this. Its been a crazy two weeks for us not to mention that my son was in the ER today. They thought he may have torn his ACL thank God it wasn't that and he only bruised the ligaments behind his knee. All this and I'm still smilin can't let it bring me down, that won't do any good. I'll hopefully have Zena back home tommorrow then its close monitoring for a couple weeks.
