Been a long time since I posted on one of these boards but this one just really caught my attention.
Bottom line is a bulldogge should be able to tackle a bull. If a dog is able, then great, if not then it's just another pet. Which is fine, I like the looks of the bully dog but they are just that, LOOKS. Function is what makes these dogs special. If a dog is athletic either English or Olde and its healthy then great. I even think that before a conformation judge starts to break down a dog the first question should be "can this dog do his job?" If all the judges do this then they can start to narrow the field rather quickly.
One time I was told that my dogs were not "Real" like the UGA type Bulldogges. I just laughed it off because we all know that our bullies are the "REAL" bulldogs.
Just my opinion for what little its worth.
