The nature of the beast is rain for this past race. It is what it is and comes when you need it the least. When it rains for several days before any event, unless you are water skiing, its going to be a damp event. Considering how much rain we got and the length of time we got it, the entire race and first in the AR State Series could have been a wash. But it was not. Because of a big hearted effort by the track operators we were able to go and race. Yep, it was muddy, it was slipery and rutted but it was a race.
Michael and RD, the track would have been super awesome had it not rained. The improvements were grand. The corners were laid out with burms and it all looked really sweet. Its a shame that the rain did what it did. No one got to reap the rewards of your hard, hard work. It truely would have been awesome. Kind of a let down for ya but you worked the track all day sat and sunday as well. I did not see your 4 wheeler stop all day yesterday. You were the first one at every crash. You are truely a MXer at heart, and we thank you for your efforts.
The pro race was just plain sick. What a turn out. We would have loved to have been able to ride.
While you are contemplating RV hook ups, can we get an automatic bike wash? You know the kind that just ride through themselves, that would be nice.
