She smiles at him, and listens to what he has to say. Listening was always the key to someone, and watching their features their movements change. She had become more aware of such things as years passed. It was good knowledge, knowledge that Micah had taught her.
By accident she wonders what the new Oracle was doing, but of course it fades through the silence as Sammael begins to speak again. The only way he could possibly know him is the fact they share the same home, but for now she doesn’t give him that hope, she lets it slide, eventually they would cross paths in the end. Her lightning sketched out her mane, leaving it in layers of moving bolts and coated water.
“Well Sammael.“ She says as he finishes. She wants him to be more dependent, it could never be a bad thing, even as he will always be linked to Atticus in someway. “Here is my objective for you.“ He says. “I want you to meet at least two others, two others you can call friends, or acquaintances either way will do because they are both one in the same sometimes.“ She pauses, but only for a moment letting her words sink in. “They can be anyone, anyone in the Deserts, anyone outside, scholars, spys, warriors, the only thing it can’t be is me.“
She remembers a time when students used their teachers to pass. Perhaps she wanted to be his friend, outside of the academy. But nonetheless, she couldn’t allow that, not here. Two seemed suitable enough, that’s two others he can grow and learn from. She didn’t wish for him to break paths from Atticus, only to grow as a person, as an individual.
Yes, I think well done.
