Lycoris happily rolled around in the academy. She was in the grass, on her back, happily with rainbows moving over her. It was like a strange game of pong almost, where all you could see was like the path the ball had taken. The rainbow bounced from side to side, changing the position of contact every time. The motions of the rainbows seemed interweaved with giggles from Lycoris. But suddenly, she stops giggling and ears prick.
In a split second she’s on her hooves and bounding, little quivers of colours following behind – like ribbons tied to her pasterns. “Amelia!?” Nostrils stretch and flare and trails of wind bring in the smell of the desert. “Come on desert-baby! I’m your new teacher!” Lycoris was calling into the Academy, as she side stepped, waiting fro Amelia to come to her. To help her along the way, her air sought out the mare, wriggled through the academy to give her a trail of rainbows to follow. “Come out and play with your rainbow eacher!”
