The Academy: it has been far to long; gecko

"we dance amoung our shadows,
our enemies connected feet to feet."

It has been to long since she last stepped inside the academy.

Her lung expand as she inhales the fall scent of autumn leaves and soil. There is something different about her. No longer the child held in the bosom of fear, but something more. There is an air of bravery about her, her water stays cool against her skin, while her lightning magnifies it and plays with it, her flesh sparking as it jumps across.

She smiles, because she cannot help it. She smiles because she is glad to be back, to start a new.

She smiles, because she has news for her teacher, Gecko.

So she calls to him.

“Gecko, I’ve been told Kemush is my father, Micah told me, I know you know he is right.“ Micah a former Solirian, left the mountains where she will never willingly return. Her water highlights the deep scars that mound upon her skin. Perhaps, she will visit Micah soon, and Formaldehyde, and Fenris. Perhaps she owes them that much.

But those thoughts escapes her as she searches for Gecko throughout the Academy.
