I was caught in the rain like you

Huyana beckoned softly, her water trumpeting out for the golden mare as well as it ran and skipped along Huyana’s internal workings. She could feel its cool touch on her veins, its calm composure on her heart. She smiled faintly, it was a sad smile.
”It has been a while since we last met, much has changed.” Huyana bowed her black head, amber pools staring at the ground beneath her hooves. So much, so soon – wasn’t it just the other day she had stood her, lost and pathetically ignorant to this world. A softer smile played with her lips, for in that memory she also recalled her first introduction to Courage. Huyana was ever thankful of the wise mare, and while this felt like a form of goodbye, she knew they would always be connected.
