Other worlds even. The rituals Nettle spoke of were fascinating at yet she couldn't help but think she was spying on a foreign culture. One that wasn't necessarily meant to be spied upon. But she did not feel guilty after hearing it. Her curiosity usually got the better of that particular emotion. She laughed gently towards the end of her story before they moved off to talk of other things. "I am still not sure i completely see it." She smiled, wondering how on earth this young mare could get under anyone's skin and bother them. But the conversation turned, going on about elements and what to choose. Not to mention how it felt to be an illusionist. To change into other shapes. The kitten-cat Oceantree shook her head. "Most people find it entertaining at best, but no one has ever really cared enough to ask what it is like I suppose." The strange feline grin still never faded. However an almost foreign memory floated to her mind as she thought of the second question-comment. No one has asked her about what she can do. That is not true. Someone did ask her once. Someone she loved very much. Someone that created Fury after the betrayal of that love. Her cat-grin faded slightly. It was almost unnoticeable. Luckily Nettle's excitement over the mentioning of Yehl brought her back to earth. Her cat features were almost startled in appearance from the sudden explanation. The smile returned to her features, but the memories failed to dissipate completely. As she spoke of her own courage, the kitten-cat would have blushed if it were physiologically possible. She never thought of herself as very strong. Easy to hurt and even harder to mend. Not wanting to offend the mare again (not that she really had in the first place) she used Yehl's alternative name even though it was slightly strange for her. "Raven was a very good teacher. She knew all the right things to say. I can only hope I am able to do the same." It was then that an earthly sigh trembled against her lips. The kitten-cat grew larger and larger as if the earth was shifting. Water pulsed through her blood vessels and soon enough the mare Oceantree was standing before Nettle again. "Or very red some would say." She laughed. A strange rain-water sound. Lighthearted and free. Unburdened by her memories for a brief moment. "I am glad you think it will help as well. I am sure it will be a good journey." It it were possible her smile might have just gotten a little brighter. She gently brushed the mares shoulder with her muzzle. "You better be off before the sun sets. Desreal is sometimes tricky to maneuver in the night." Not to mention there are true nightmares waiting in the shadows there. She was worried for her, but nothing more than was healthy. As if she were a mother watching her child go off for the first time. Being a teacher does strange things I suppose.
