Perhaps she wasn't altogether wrong about the mare feeling alone. Seeming alone. She listened to her talk, laughter on her lips. "The Elders...they know everything you know." The smile didn't fade as one might expect it to. "That is where I learned your name. Then again, I would know it even if you hadn't said it." She winked. Oddly and awkwardly. The fury settled from her mind in this mare's presence. "But I will call you Nettle as you wish." The smile never faded, but she could not help but wonder why the name Nettle. It seemed so harsh for such a young care free mare. And a mare who seemed so unlike the plant she was named after. She listened patiently as Nettle continued to speak. Once she is finished she ponders a moment. "I wouldn't say you don't have much to tell, dear Nettle. In so few words you have already said so much." She moves around a moment, shifting in the green grass of the academy. Winter never seemed to touch this place. It was not that she was ignoring her words, in fact that was the furthest from the truth. Her mind was simply plagued with random thoughts. Drifting around like the waves to the sea. "Do you know of the elements? Have you learned of their power?" She paused a moment, waiting for an answer, but she reached her muzzle to her shoulder while she did. Her touch was cool and strangely like the water of a mountain stream. Thin green vines came from the ground, winding around their legs. Small blue flowers bloomed from their stems. They were delicate like wind, but they were beautiful all the same. It was in her eyes as she watched Nettle. The earth was there and so was the sea. She pulled her muzzle away and the vines floated away as blue petals to the wind. Slowly she changed. Shifting smaller and smaller. Her hair was black and mottled with orange. She was a small kitten-cat. Nettle could very well crush her with one hoof. But her upturned face showed the same blue and green eyes of Oceantree. She mewed softly, purring as she moved to rub against her student's leg. Her fur was soft and she stopped with her tail curled high around Nettle's leg. She moved to her side, crouched at the read. "I hope you don't mind." She purred to Nettle, before leaping rather gracefully to the mare's back. She landed softly, her small claws tucked away so that she would not have hurt her. It took some more time to get used to her...gifts...than others, but this was her student. She already felt comfortable in her presence. "I know a pair quite like you and your brother actually. In fact, they are about the same age." She curled against her withers, quite comfortable. "They live in Ni'Srilan. They sort of look to me as their mother I suppose. They are Sammael and Atticus, a brother and sister pair. Not twins either, but very close. I don't think I would be too out there in saying they have never been apart either." Her smile hadn't faded yet as her quiet purring continued. "There is still time. Perhaps once you are successful here he will understand that you are strong. He will know that you are capable of being on your own. Though, I am not suggesting you do not stay close, but maybe he will come to understand." She kneaded at her withers. Eyes closed and still purring. She felt so small against Nettle. So vulnerable and yet so safe. "I trust in you." She paused then. Allowing her to respond if she wished. Soon she laughed again, it was a strange small laugh. "But I suppose you didn't just come here to hear stories and nonsense. Surely you have questions?" She arched her neck out from her resting spot. Looking curiously forward towards the mare's head should she turn around to look at her. What a silly sight indeed.
