Even though she had not been physically fighting, she had been fighting in other ways seemingly her whole life. She was tired. Worn down. She was sick of fighting. Fighting for everything. So in this way she could understand why Delilah had changed paths. But she did not believe her when she said she was not good enough. "Delilah you doubt yourself too much, even though I can understand your choices...I do not think it is because you are not capable though." She offered what may have been a smile, but under the pain in her eyes one couldn't be sure. Her touch was comforting. Perhaps the first comforting thing she has felt in a long time. She would have blushed at the mare's next statement if she were able. Had she really deteriorated that much? She had been an outcast for some time now. Only returning to her desert home to save a set of foals. Only to have no one care that she had returned. Perhaps she would move back to Andarin. Start again...again. Where no one really remembers her. Where there is no visual pain for her to relive. But as the mare started to groom her she only sighed. It was a heart wrenching thing really. "There is too much to tell, Delilah...Too much I am not sure I want to relive even if it wouldn't take forever to tell." Hopefully her friend would understand. Leave it be for now. Until she was ready to tell it. "I was supposed to be your teacher..." Random Oceantree, something never change. But she was upset by it. "I wanted to be." Perhaps she would have felt somewhat ok about teaching Delilah in her state of mind. Or perhaps she would have been just as bitter about having to teach anyone. Who really knew? She almost didn't even know who she was anymore.
