He lingered amongst the tall trees, hiding beneath the trees in the shade while the summer sun beat down upon them over head. Hot as it was, Marshall was happy for being her in the hot humidity was far better than being amongst the sands of Ni right now. Now at night, Ni was a completely different place. It was chilly, almost cold there amongst the sands and it amazed him that a place that was so hot during the day could get so cold at night. But Black Diamond had been right, night was the time that the wildlife of the desert came alive.
He shook his head, chasing the thoughts away. He had work to do and students to teach. He smiled then realizing that the Elders had given him another new student. He was excited to be here, getting ready to teach these students but the problem was he wasn’t sure what exactly to teach them. He wasn’t sure what he could give them to get past their objectives so that they were next to become Apprentices.
He paced away from the trees. His thoughts moving wildly through his head. And it was then that he smiled and calmed his whirlwind mind. Perhaps he better just meet them first. So he wandered away from the open. He called to them in their minds using his subtle clairvoyance to gather them to him.
