Youth sometimes makes her want to puke. Like those who seem to pay attention, who really aren’t paying attention—those types.. they make her want to strangle the life out of things—even her little flowers.

His eyes, those yellow things peering out of the darkness, aren’t friendly and Aian can tell. And he seems different than other colts, different but something about him is just like everyone else.

But she has never met Leto before, and now she knows she must travel to the desert, so his knowledge that he imparts to her is valuable, in a sense.

For a moment she ignores him, watching the Academy with difference in her eyes. This boy has a fate, to be something great—if that’s what he wishes. She has no ‘visions’, no ability to ‘see’ into the future.. but she can see that he is uneasy around her and that makes her smile. Not her golden sunshine self, but that self that Arashi and Ozymandias brought to surface.

“ Well, if you seek a teacher.. and an objective—I could give you one.. “

If Leto does indeed, she is there, standing tall in the light while he is in the darkness.
