She almost felt at home here in the mare's embrace. For a brief moment, even, she remembered the gray mare that was the closest to a mother she would ever know. Fei. The bird-mare. Yehl was everything Fei had been in this moment. And even though the thought brought some solace to her, the memory of Fei was still mixed with confusion and sadness. She had never seen the painted mare within Andarin. Then again she had missed many of the equine that had lived there. Some of them she had even met in Ni'Srilan. Far from the mountains gray gaze. She was silent still, knowing her conversation was not over yet. So she had heard of Kale. The wolf-king. She smiles, only halfheartedly, as the vague memories of her foalhood tormented her still. She had missed so much as a foal. Guidance, love, the sense of being wanted. She was left to wander and her father didn't even know she existed. She nodded slowly before she could speak. "I can do that..." Hesitation was still clear in her voice, but her words were true. She was not much of a liar, that much was certain. It would take time though. That she certainly knew. "I just hope..." She just hoped what? He wouldn't attack her? The shard he possessed wouldn't try and enslave her? Oh no, she did not know about the shard he had. But she saw the scars (yes, she had even met him once). She saw the way he had changed. She had felt it when she looked into his eyes. Something was there that made her fear him. That would be what she had to overcome. "...he wants to remember me." So maybe she was a liar. Though, it is probably certain that Yehl could see through it.
