Posted by lvl i pirate on June 4, 2008, 1:32 pm, in reply to "maybe you are the teacher now? ; PIRATE" Pirate does not feel he will ever be the teacher, in Hypatia's presence. Should the Elementals choose, a day from now or five years from now, to grant him the title that the Oracle now holds, he would still see Hypatia as his teacher, the mare that took him in when he was young and made him see things a little differently. It is not a bad feeling, however, and Pirate in no way resents it. It is natural, and when was anything natural ever something to regret?

Pirate holds the wisdom of the Oracle in high regard within his mind, and he nods, serious as he almost never is. The chestnut stallion cannot contradict her; he has little self-discipline, and it is something that he needs to learn.
His wind is, at first, concerned by the approaching fire and shrinks away; but it has always been versatile, and when it feels her restraint it ventures out again. Pirate makes a conscious effort to control his wind and it does not really blow, but is there, milling around gently.
"I will do as you say, Hypatia," Pirate says, his tone grave for he feels the shift in mood (despite the fact that her fire-mind is closed to him). "And thank you."
