Ok ya'll! I know you've waited long enough. Eligible Apprentices, those of you who have taught at least one student, this is your chance to not only place yourself on the Council of this fine Academy, but to gain those elusive Seer powers.
This month's quest shall be different from last month, in that it is not a riddle, but based entirely on your interpretation. Keeping your entry below 1500 words, find for us the following. It is a relic left behind from one of the first games, and I have included some history on it.
"The Diadem of Oreallo"
When the twin sisters, Ichor and Amadi, ruled the sands of Oreallo, they created between them a literal promise to rule justly. This crown, whose elegant design is fashioned from Amadi's enchanted water and decorated with the feathers of Ichor's loyal osprey, was lost among the shores at the fall of the Second War. Little is known about its power (if any), but it is said that the wearer of the crown will discover Legend's third territory, when the time is right, just as the sisters before did.
YOUR TASK is to find this crown, using any and all imagination at your disposal. Travel the lands of Legend searching for it, and discuss the reasons why you believe you find the crown where it lies, if you find it at all. There is no right or wrong answer. The fastest to adequately respond will be awarded with the Crown, but all who complete the quest to satisfaction will earn the title and powers of Seer. If more than two horses earn the Seer title, the first Election will be held to determine the Elders on the council.
Deadline for Quest entries will be midnight June 3rd, 2008.
