The elven mare is still, listening and watching Keira’s body language. She speaks with fluidity and she moves with grace, she is a shifting and welcome presence to the shadow mare. She’d not lay a voice upon her history, no think back to it- for her mother and father are both gone and yet like Keira, she too was rooted deeply here. She is, albeit, very demure as she listens, and the girl’s birdsong voice hungry for it’s airy companions. Keira was in truth a wolf but Elemmírë saw something almost dove-like about the girl. The contrast of color was interesting, and yet she was a little more surprised to see Keira’s reaction to her small display of spring.
The Elvish mare-child chuckles; her voice only a foggy tincture of what may have been emotion- and yet there was none. “Ah yes,” she speaks, her dreams hazily seeping as my rogue thinks back to the element she speaks of. She shivers just slightly, the pressing chill of the wind around them brushes against her skin. She can feel its soothing and excited fingers snaring her; the earth mother embraces it. “Air is a strange element, it floats above and yet embraces the earth below it- it feeds fire and causes waves in the water- when it’s pressure changes it can create or stop lightning…” she muses, the purest form of breath dancing at her lungs. Her obscure face is rendered to stay as she shifts positions, the flowers around her trembling and maintained only by her earthen prowess.
She nods her head and calls to her side a large falcon. It’s grand feathers ruffling and it’s yellow eyes watching her, the rogue nods and the bird opens his wings; she looks at Keira with a simple sobriety, her lungs expanding- chest rising and falling. “Grier is a flighted creature, and much like the air he travels he is wild and free- we all are. But we are bound by the strengths and weaknesses of our elements.” She watches him settle, the falcon still and waiting with his claws grasping the icy ruins. “Wind is weak to fire but strong to earth, Fire is strong to wind but weak to water, Water is weak to lightning but stronger to fire; lightning is weak to earth but strong to water, and of course Earth- strong to lightning but weak to air. A cycle similar to nature if you will.”
She turns her head and watches as Grier dives first, taking flight upon a rush of wind. she feels her flowers wither and crumble- her teal eyes watching as she smiles, offering a sudden warmth in her voice- “I talk to much, tell me about yourself, and what you wish to achieve as a scholar.” She says it with humility and respect, she waits then.
