Hi there,
Just read your funky Monkey magazine which i got in Bournemouth. Looks great considering its your first one. The magazine itself is high quality, gloss paper etc, definately makes it more attractive, in fact makes you not want to throw it out and now both of my younger brothers have read the magazine too.
Anyway, i grew up in Bournemouth and still live here 50% of the time. Im 24 years old, i started a internet business 4 years ago, and started travelling around the world ever since.
I write alot of travel material for magazines as my brother is a journalist for the Daily Echo and was able to get me great contacts. I also do photography but at present this is more of a personal hobby.
I have a personal travel journal style website www.jetsetnow.co.uk which is has alot of my travel stories and pics posted on there, if you would like to use any of the content then no problem, i can re-write any bits your interested in because at present its only rough/brief paragraphs on the site.
Im currently back in bournemouth for one month, but i live on Boracay Island, Philippines now, were i also have a games arcade.
Obviously im offering this for free, i just want to increase my exposure.
I have some good ideas for articles, one being the difference between living in bournemouth (or england) and living abroad, living in cold countries, hot countries, rich countries, poor countries etc. The difference in lifestyle, in women, drinking, partying etc. Being a bournemouth man myself and partying heavily on a nightly basis from 16-20 in bournemouth centre and of course the Operahouse the audience will be able to relate to my stories of comparison.
A good piece would also be to write on the best holiday destinations which aren't the norm, e.g. exotic places other than Ibiza.
A very popular piece are my ones on how to live or work abroad. Many people are interested in this but just dont know how to do it.

Oh and my brother, Ashley Bolton, who is a journalist for the Echo has travelled Europe, caribean, and some of Africa and also has professional pictures and stories written up for most of the destinations.
